November 6, 2008 - Mini Writers' Workshop at FMPL with two speakers on inspirations for writing and character development techniquest.
May 2005, - Planning meeting for the 2005 WriteOn! Seminar scheduled for August 27.
April 2005 - Presentation by Kathryn Grant, Editorial Director of Brown Book Publishing of Dallas, TX. We learned all about their publication services and award winning authors. A quality operation to say the least.
September 20, 2004 - UNT Professor to speak and teach how to "Develop Your Character" - your fictional charaters, not your own. Sorry. This is sure to be a great learning experience.

April 19, 2004 - Conference Planning - The Flower Mound Writers Group is planning an a full-day writers conference in the fall. We will take this meeting to get member input into what we'd like to have as events, speakers, etc. Be sure not to miss this meeting.
Mar 15, 2004 - Dave Sorter, Managing Editor of the Lewisville and Flower Mound Leader. Writing for Newspapers and Reporting. An interesting look at the world of writing from a jounalist's perspective.
Feb 16, 2004 - Critque and More - Author Judi McCoy will return to offer advice and creative direction for members at this highly motivational meeting. Members who have submitted work to Judi prior for review will be top priority.
Jan 19, 2004 - " Tax Tips for Writers and Authors " - Accounting rules and IRS tips so you can prepare your 2003 taxes and take all the write deductions.
Dec 15, 2003 - Holiday Gathering! Time for writers and others to come together, share desserts and maybe even a few holiday stories.
Nov 17, 2003 - Open Mike Night. Your chance to share some of your writing with a live audience. Criques are optional. Time permitting, Patti Pfeiffer will share her experiences from the Glorieta Writers' Conference. The intense, four-day educational conference was packed with information she is looking forward to sharing with the group.
Oct 20, 2003 - The Query Letters Clinic to be conducted by Author Mary DeMuth.
Sept 15, 2003 - Learn from the experts what agents want - and DON'T WANT. Guest Speakers will be literary agents Mike and Susan Farris of the Farris Agency.
Aug 18, 2003 - Peggy Purser Freeman - Peggy is the winner of 25 regional writing awards, a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Oklahoma Federation of Writers. Ms. Freeman, drawing on her experiences as the eighth child of a sharecropper, enjoys writing stories that interest the entire family.
July 21, 2003 - Noted children's author, Sally Roberts . She will talk about writing historical children's books.
June 16, 2003 - Open Mike Night - Readings from the membership May 19, 2003 - Judi McCoy, Award Winning Romance author will be speaking on "Finding and Agent and Getting Published in the Romance Genre".
April 21, 2003 - Marilyn Celeste Morris , Author and Columnist. Program begins at 7:00 PM.
